Connecting lives and communities to Christ

What's New at Zion?

Online Sunday Morning Bible Study

Adult Bible Class will meet online Sundays from 9:15 to 10:10 am!

Since we are unable to meet at Zion for Bible study on Sunday mornings, we will continue our Pathways of the Gospel Bible study online. Jump right in if you’d like!  PDFs will be made available beforehand and emailed out to you if requested.  Also, we will be using zoom which is an online video conferencing platform where hundreds of people can be at the same online place at the same time.  It is easy to download and use.  All you need is the internet, to be able to download zoom (which is free), and an email address.

In our class we will be taking a look at the Apostle Paul in his third missionary journey.  The Apostle Paul does more than share Jesus.  He equips others to share Jesus too.  What do you need to be equipped for sharing Jesus?  What can we do to equip others to share Jesus? The Apostle Paul also tells us about some who wish to do great damage to the gospel ministry and believers (the world is hostile to the message of the gospel).  How can we prepare ourselves to stand strong in the faith and in the truth of the gospel?  We will look at these and more in our study.  We’d love to have you join us as we study God’s Word together.  Online Bible study is held Sunday mornings starting at 9:15am and going to 10:10am.

In-Home Worship

Continue to worship the Lord at home!

Due to the coronavirus outbreak we have suspended all worship services and activities held on-site at Zion.  We eagerly look forward to the time when we will be able to worship together at Zion again, and we humbly ask the Lord for that day to come quickly.  In the meantime we know that just because we are unable to worship at Zion does not mean that we are unable to worship!
Click here for in-home worship resources for you and your family, including videos of sermons.  May God bless your worship at home!

Coronavirus Update

On-site worship and activities cancelled through April 24th

“Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”  Psalm 50:15

The coronavirus is certainly causing trouble in our nation and in our world.  The state of Wisconsin has issued a "Safer at Home" order directing people to remain in their homes.  As a Christian congregation we desire to respect the governing authorities that God has placed over us, and we also desire to keep people safe from harm.  At the same time, we love to gather around the Word of God and encourage one another in the faith through worship as God wants us to do.  In order to follow all of these Biblical principles, we have decided to refrain from meeting physically at Zion for worship and all other activities until April 24th and will instead provide assistance for in-home worship and Bible study.

We will continue to evaluate the situation as it develops and make changes as necessary.  Continue to check our website as we will be staying in touch and providing resources for you online.  And remember that God says he will never leave us or forsake us and that he is in control of all things.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16
