Welcome to Zion

Connecting lives and communities to Christ

What's New at Zion?

Prepare & Enrich

"Prepare & Enrich" marriage enhancement program now available at Zion!

Marriage is a blessing from the Lord.  Faith in Christ serves as a great foundation to build a married life together.  Marriage is perfect, however the people in marriage are not.  There needs to be love, respect, and forgiveness in marriage.  It takes work to be on the same page, working in the same direction.  At Zion we want you to have a strong and virbrant marriage.  We encourage you to continue to invest in your marriage.  One of the ways to do that is to go through the "Prepare & Enrich" program now available at Zion.  It is a tool where you and your spouse take an online assessment at home.  Afterwards you would meet with Pastor Schwertfeger, a Prepare & Enrich facilitator, to help you gain a deeper understanding of dynamics, personality, stress, strength, and growth areas in your marriage.

Monday Evening Worship

Worship Monday evenings at 7:00 pm, now continuing into the fall

Planning on going out of town for the weekend?  You can still worship with us in person!  Zion offers a Monday evening worship service at 7:00 pm.  This service will last from 7:00 to 7:30 pm due to the changes we have implemented during this time of coronavirus.  In previous years the Monday evening worship service was during the summer months only.  However, this year we will be continuing to have worship on Monday evenings into the fall.

Coronavirus Update

In-person worship has resumed with new worship times, procedures

The coronavirus pandemic continues to affect our lives and how we worship.  We once again are able to hold in-person worship services at Zion.  Thanks be to God!  However, worship at Zion is a little different than it used to be.  We follow social distancing guidelines of six feet, we sanitize between services, we have shorter services to allow for extra time for entry/exit and sanitation, and we operate at 25% capacity by having four worship services on Sunday mornings (8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00) and one on Monday evening at 7:00.
Masks are now required at Zion.  Wisconsin has a state-wide mask mandate put in place by Governor Evers which started on August 1 and goes until September 28, 2020 for ages 5 and above for indoor spaces.  We ask you to please bring a mask to use during worship.  If you forget your mask, a limited number of disposable masks are available in the gathering area.  At the 11:00 service on Sundays masks are required, the pastors wear masks for the entire service (including the sermon), and there is no singing.  Online worship will continue to be offered as well for the foreseeable future for those who need to or prefer to worship at home.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
