Dorcas Society
The Dorcas Society is a group for women of Zion.  The purpose of this group is to help women grow spiritually through Bible study and to serve the church and others with their deeds and offerings.  The group "Serving Our Savior" is the service branch of the Dorcas Society.  To learn more about Serving Our Savior, click here.

In Acts 10:36 the Bible says, "In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which, when translated, is Dorcas), who was always doing good and helping the poor."  Zion's Dorcas Society is named after this woman.

The Dorcas Society meets monthly, except during the winter months.  This meeting typically includes devotion, prayer, presentations, and a fellowship time with refreshments.
