What's New at Zion?
Sermon Series

Sundays in November

Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? -Luke 16:10–11

Most of us have struggled with the mastery of money in our lives.  But by God's grace we have a different Master.  We can use the money God has given us instead of being used by it.  What a change!  We are free from the control of money because we are controlled by the Lord.  And that's what our stewardship sermon series each Sunday in the month of Novmber is all about:  True Riches.  Join us Sundays at 8:00 or 10:30 a.m. as we look at how we use the money God has given to us.  May the Lord strengthen the control he has over us as we study his Word.

Service Opportunity!
Triple Dollar Dinner
at Wisconsin Lutheran Chapel

Monday, November 20th

Zion will again be preparing a meal for hungry college students on Monday, November 20th at Wisconsin Lutheran Chapel in Madison (220 W. Gilman St.).  We need volunteers to donate desserts and to help serve the meal.  If you are able to help in this way sign up at the glass case in the back of church or contact the Zion church office.  Bring your desserts to Zion on Sunday, November 19th and place them in the kitchen.  Christ has shown his love to us, and out of thankful hearts we therefore show love to others.  We love because he first loved us (1 John 4:19).
Thanksgiving Worship
Wed. Nov. 22nd at 7:00 p.m.

Join us Thanksgiving eve at 7:00 p.m. as we give thanks to our gracious and generous God.  Not only does he give us countless material blessings, but more importantly he has given us the greatest blessing of all, salvation through Jesus Christ.  "All praise and thanks to God the Father now be given; the Son, and him who reigns with them in highest heaven; the one eternal God, whom earth and heav'n a dore; for thus it was, is now, and shall be evermore."
