Christmas Worship Services

We invite you to join us this Christmas season for worship and fellowship!  We have a variety of special services planned to help you focus on the true reason for the season, Jesus Christ.  We know what truly makes Christmas special is that God so loved the world that he sent his Son to earth for us--to suffer, die on the cross, and rise again--to pay for our sins!  Thanks be to God!

About the Services
Children's Christmas Program:  The children in Sunday School (ages 3 though 14)  share the Christmas story through recitation, narration, and song.  The congregation has the opportunity to participate in worship through responsive readings, song, and prayer. The children do their program twice, on Christmas Eve and also on the Sunday before Christmas.  On the Sunday before Christmas they do their program at 10:30 a.m. in lieu of the regular worship service.  (A regular Sunday worship service is held that morning as usual at 8:00 a.m.)  On Christmas Eve the children's service is at 5:00 pm.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service:  Our 9:00 p.m. Christmas Eve service is different from the earlier children's service.  As we join late in the evening we think about what it might have been like that first Christmas night.

Christmas Day Worship:  We pray that our Christmas Day worship service at 9:30 a.m. enables you to keep the focus of Christmas on Jesus Christ.  After the presents have been opened, join us to reflect on and rejoice over the greatest Present of all.

New Year's Eve Worship:  As the year draws to a close we join for worship to thank God for his many blessings upon us in the last year and remember his promises for the future.  Holy Communion will be celebrated during this service, an opportunity to receive forgiveness for our sins and depart this year in peace.
