Connecting lives and communities to Christ

What's New at Zion?

Family Fellowship Time

Tuesday, February 12th at 6:00 pm

On Tuesday, February 12th join the Family Fellowship Time group for supper at 6:00 pm in the church fellowship hall followed by devotion and a presentation from a fellow church member currently serving in the Active Guard with the Air Force.  We will be sharing information about his deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Africa and his current active duty.  We are also gathering items to be mailed in care packages to actively deployed troops.  With the assistance of the Poynette Military Troop Support Group we are hoping to send at least 10 packages filled with personal items, snacks, supplies, and Easter greetings from Zion Lutheran Church members.  We are currently collecting donations for the care packages.  Click here to see a list of items.  If you would like to donate items you can bring them to the collection boxes in the gathering area at Zion.  We are so thankful for the many freedoms we enjoy as American, including the freedom to worship the Lord, and we tank those men and women serving in the military who help to keep our nation free.

Growth Groups

New sessions beginning in February

Are you interested in connecting with other people at Zion?  You may want to check out a Growth Group!  Growth Groups are small-group Bible studies that meet at members' homes.  We can't promise that you will find your next best friend, but you will find real people who really love Jesus.  New Growth Groups will be starting up again in February.  This year each group will be meeting just once per month.  Sign-up sheets are located by the Growth Group display outside the church offices.  Take a look at your schedule and pick the group that best fits.  Pick one out, sign up, and get growing in God's Word!
