Adult Bible Class takes place between worship services at 9:15 am. This year we are first finishing up our Bible study on the book of I Peter. Afterwards, a topical book “Prepared to Answer” will focus our discussions on giving Scriptural answers to some hot-button issues including: why bad things happen, different interpretations of Scripture, abortion, evidence of God’s existence, miracles, and more. There is no need to sign up; just come downstairs to the fellowship hall at 9:15 on Sunday mornings and join in. Bibles, coffee, and morning snacks are provided.

Thursday Morning Bible Class
Joining Jesus On His Mission: How to Be an Everyday Missionary
For our next Thursday Morning Bible Study we will be reading through Joining Jesus On His Mission: How to Be an Everyday Missionary by Greg Finke. Here is what the book is about:
Joining Jesus on His Mission will alter the way you see your life as a follower of Jesus and take you beyond living your life for Jesus to living life with Jesus. Simple, powerful and applicable insights show you how to be on mission and recognize where Jesus is already at work in your neighborhoods, workplaces and schools. You will feel both relief and hope. You may even hear yourself say, “I can do this!” as you start responding to the everyday opportunities Jesus is placing in your path.
The book will be free of charge for all those who attend. It will be a great resource as we learn how to be missionaries in our everyday lives! Class starts at 10:30 am on Thursday September 13th.
